On the other hand, even though it has a fairly low ROI, social media is the most ideal marketing for building engagement. As many as 30% of millennials say that they feel connected to brands through social media.

Level of trust

Even though many people spend time on social media. However, in fact many users do not really trust social media. As many as 37% of consumers in the United States stated that they do not trust social media companies to protect their data.

When it comes to customer trust, Facebook is the most suspect. A report revealed that 49% of consumers in the United States are not at all confident that Facebook can keep their data safe. Meanwhile, 66% of adults in the United States feel more confident that email can protect their data.

By looking at several of these arguments, using email marketing is more recommended to build trust in your brand. On the other hand, as many as 75% of consumers are willing to share their personal data with brands they trust.
